Ever since she was a child, Kei Yonagi had been enraptured by acting, particularly the distinct ways in which actions and emotions were embodied by various characters. As a destitute teenager tasked with caring for her young siblings, she struggled to secure any role through dreary auditions. However, her fortunes took a turn when a distinguished director, Sumiji Kuroyama, recognized her remarkable talent for method acting, where she fully immersed herself in the role. Nevertheless, while Yonagi displayed raw talent, relying solely on her current technique would result in her withering away. Kuroyama offered to take her under his wing and refine her skills, providing her with the opportunity of a lifetime.
